Some frequently asked questions:
How are dried fruits made?
Our dried fruits are “made” by the sun, rain and fertile soil on our beautiful farm – or on local SA partnerfarms, in some cases fruits are imported like our succulent Turkish apricots and Prunes from Chile
We add as little as possible to this powerful mix. With the help of the sun, we dehydrate the fruit to achieve the ideal level of softness. We preserve our dried fruit to ensure it stays in perfect condition and package the fruit at our facility.
A small number of our traditional treats, like South African favourites fruit dainties and fruit sticks, incorporate some sugar and colouring. (All ingredients are listed on our product pages). The rest comes from nature.
