Royal Apricots
The Royal apricot is grown locally, mainly around Prince Alfred’s Hamlet, but we also source these apricots from Citrusdal and the Klein Karoo. This local apricot variety has a sophisticated tart flavour profile that South Africans have long loved. We also allow the Royal apricot, better known to Americans and Australians as Blenheim apricots, to tree-ripen for as long as possible so that both flavour and sweetness develop to their delicious best.
