South African dried apricot: a traditional favourite

Much-loved in South Africa, Royal apricots are tart but with rich, honey notes. The drying process intensifies their flavour for a burst of sweet-tangy goodness.

Cecilia’s Farm dried Royal apricots make a great gourmet gift from the Cape. The apricots come from farms around Prince Alfred’s Hamlet, Citrusdal, Tulbagh and the Klein Karoo.

They’re ripened to ideal sweetness on the trees before being hand-picked and sorted. They are then slowly sun- dried, giving them a satisfying, yielding texture and a deep sunset-orange colour.

Turkish apricots online in South Africa

Our Turkish apricots are sweet, plump and decadent. They are specially sourced from the Malayta region of Turkey, where they are sun-ripened and then dried whole (rather than halved first).

Popular worldwide, these apricots are mild, juicy and delicious.
