How we make our nutty nougat
To create our light, chewy nougat nutty sweet treats, we blend white chocolate, egg white and milk powder together and add a sprinkle of sugar.
Next, we fold in either a generous serving of macadamia nuts and a pinch of salt, or almonds and tart, dried cherries.
Once the mixture is smooth and aerated, we transfer it to a large tray – per tradition, containing a sheet of rice paper. A second sheet of rice paper is placed on top of the finished product, which is then cooled and cut into 50-gram bars.
