This is a wonderfully simple recipe. Buy your phyllo pre-made and combine with our dried figs and some of their favourite companions – honey, lemon and spice – for a delicious treat filled with great textures and flavours.
Brush 8 sheets phyllo pastry with melted butter and layer on top of each other. Cut to fit into small tart pans or muffin pans. Chop 100 g Cecilia’s Farm Turkish Figs and add to 150 g Cecilia’s Farm Roasted & Salted Mixed Nuts; 5 ml cinnamon; 2,5 ml allspice; a pinch of ground cardamom; 50 ml honey; 7,5 ml lemon juice and 5 ml grated lemon rind. Spoon into pastry cases and bake at 200 °C until golden brown. Dip halved Turkish figs in warm honey and place on top of each tartlet.

Make your favourite baklava mixture with nuts and spices and add 100 g chopped Cecilia’s Farm Turkish Figs. Spoon into pastry cases and bake at 200 °C until golden brown. Top with extra Turkish figs, halved and dipped in warm honey.
