Its all smiles at Koelfontein

The month of June is always a chilly step into winter in the Western Cape, but the cold wet weather we all know is upon us will never dampen our spirits (besides, we and our fruit actually like the rain).

We’re all smiles this side of Prince Alfred’s Hamlet because the Cecilia’s World dried fruit brand is officially alive and kicking, as you’ll gather from this website (we hope you like it, by the way).

Truth be told, sometimes it felt a bit like a bumpy bakkie ride over an eroded jeep track to get to our destination. A lot of hard work goes into launching a brand and website, even when you’ve been in the business for a while and know your pears from your apricots. And not that we mind hard work – we live for it. But there’s been a ton of excitement around At Source Handmade Foods for months on end in anticipation of this day – and it’s finally here!

So, welcome to Cecilia’s World website. We hope you’ll find it as irresistible a place to be on the internet as people do when they visit Koelfontein itself. We’ll keep you posted about the exciting things happening in Cecilia’s World – subscribe (it’s free) and you’ll receive an email each time we post something new.

Oes-af en Witblits

Saturday the 16th April dawned bright and beautiful on Koelfontein – which was a very good thing because the farmstead was already buzzing as everyone got ready to welcome almost 100 of Koelfontein’s family, neighbours, suppliers and hangers-on to celebrate our annual Oes-af in style on the same day as our annaul Witblits Stookdag!
